What are your opening hours?
Doors: Monday to Friday, 8am to 6:30pm.

How long does it take to get my repeat medication?
Please allow us 3 working days to process.
Can I order extra medication when I’m going away on holiday?
Yes, depending on the type of medication and based on an individual basis.
Can I order my Repeat medication over the phone?
For safety reasons, we do not accept medication requests via telephone. However you can order them online, by completing your prescription counterfoil and placing it in the box at the dispensary window. You could also write it on a bit of paper and pop it in the box. Post your request to us.
How long does it take to get my blood result?
This depends on what type of test requested. Most blood tests are back with us within 2 working days. However some can take up to a week. More specialised tests can be 6 weeks. It also depends on the workload at the pathological lab.
When and how can I book a home visit?
The GPs undertake their home visits between their morning and afternoon clinics. Roughly between midday and 2pm. Therefore you are requested to phone reception by 10:30am. This gives us time to allocate visits appropriately. Visits are only for the housebound and because of lack of transportation.
What happens if I am late for my appointment?
The clinician will endeavour to still see you, however if you are more than 10 minutes late, your appointment will be marked as did not attend and you will be requested to rebook.
How do I register for on line services?
Register for online services
Once you have completed the form, physical identity is required along with identity documentation, therefore you need to come into the practice with identification documents and speak to the reception staff.
Can I self-refer myself to Physiotherapy or Podiatry?
Yes, for the services at Newholme Hospital in Bakewell, Whitworth Hospital in Matlock and Chesterfield Royal Hospital, phone 01246 565 050.
How do I know what travel vaccinations I require?
Phone reception, who will take some details, such destinations, length stay, when are you going, how far are you from medical assistance. This will be passed on to the travel nurse who will contact you. Please not that we do not administer Yellow Fever or Cholera.
